I have always been a seeker. Looking for a connection to something both greater than and within myself.
My journey has been a long diverse road...many paths, so many different directions. Sometimes retracing my steps like a spiral, coming back to things I thought I understood only to see the deeper truths.
The fact is: this deep soul, earth mama, moonchild has always been called to do this Work. My soul-work, as well as my human life-purpose is dedicated to helping people discover their own sense of peace and inner wisdom. Body, mind, and soul.
About eight years ago, I took that first brave, tentative step forward into the world of holistic education and spiritual growth. For myself, then for others.
The first time I placed my hands on someone while doing Reiki, I had this "aha" moment. It was a sense of coming home, a recognition of my abilities, and an inner knowing that this was what I was being called to do. Along the way, I have deeply studied the works of Carolyn Myss and Donna Eden; both pioneers in the Energy Work field.
I had another profound "aha" moment the first time I placed my hands on someone while in massage school. Another inner knowing, another calling. The same feeling while whipping up a recipe for handcrafted herbal lotions and balms. Even more profound when I've gathered with women in Circles. And yet again, when I led my first group meditation. And the most profound while immersed in End of Life Doula & Hospice training, finally utilizing all of the gifts I have to offer.
Combining these honored roles, it is my wish to help you find your own voice and learn to trust your own inner wisdom, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Using this unique approach, I work with you to bring harmony into your daily life. I fully believe in customizing each and every session, based on what you need and what you are searching for. Through a therapeutic and nurturing touch, I strive to help the body heal itself.
Some people call those of us who do this work Healers. I always pause when this term is used. Healing and Curing are two very different things. I like to say I'm in the Healing Arts profession. I am a human who has a gift of connecting to the Divine. And every single one of us has that gift of connection as well as the ability to heal ourselves on some level. Every. Single. One. Some have chosen to dive deeply into this gift we were given and to share it with others. It's an honor to do so. I am humbled by it every day.
It is my greatest desire that the work we do together leaves you feeling balanced, whole, and at peace within yourself, wherever you are in your journey and at any stage of your life. Bodywork for the soul and soul work for the body.
